Your child will need a pencil, paper, a notebook or folder for paper, and his/her text book each day. Crayons, colored pencils, scissors, and glue will need to be kept in his/her locker to complete maps and projects in class.

We have begun a study of Ancient Egypt. We will be studying the four periods of history, Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, and New Kingdom. We will also look at the geography of the region. Ancient Egyptian social order, religion, architecture, writing, and their relationship with the Kushites will be included in the study of this unit.
